Stefanie Beutler was born in
November 1980 in Potsdam Germany. She went to primary school
in Potsdam- West until the end of class six. After that she changed to
the Einstein gramma school and reached the university entrance
qualification in the year 2000. For education as wood sculpturer she
learns for three years at the technical college for wood carvers and
carpenters in the Bavarian town Berchtesgaden. During workshop she
made the fish of wood before the end of the first
year of education. At the end she was member of a
team for restauration of lost wooden
ornaments of the church of
Darnewitz. During the following
time she made paintings and
experiments with etchings. Several wooden
or clay pieces of work like "Blaue Frau", the Mask, the play
rabbit or the chess figures are created during the last two education
years.
At the end of education "Der Skater" (The scater) was created
and was selected by the school for competition
"Oberbayrischer Förderpreis für junge
Holzgestalter" and was awarded with the second range of wood carvers.
After education she bagan to experiment with inlaid work, made wooden
pillars for restauration of a balcony, made dishes writing plates,
pillars with writing and paintings. The pices of work she offers on
markets in Potsdam and Berlin.
